In our latest release, we've made several key updates and fixes to enhance our platform's functionality and user experience.

Key updates include the addition of Web Application Firewall (WAF) to our security documentation (#2736), an update to our Vercel HSTS policy (#2735), and the publishing of agent installer with release (#2733). We've also added signingKeyId to param store (#2728), and organized our communications documentation (#2579).

We've made improvements to our admin/client functionality, enabling the use of :projectId param to create a client as superadmin (#2722), and added support for operators like exists, !=, etc. in our QuestionnaireForm (#2714).

Our documentation has been enhanced with the inclusion of vital signs documentation (#2651), draft agent documentation (#2721), and the documentation of Lab Service Menu (#2629).

We've also made strides in improving our platform's performance and reliability, with fixes including the correction of client credentials flow python example (#2682), the addition of validation benchmarks (#2420), and the handling of slicing edge cases for profile validation (#2620).

Lastly, we're thrilled to welcome our newest team member @ThatOneBro to the Medplum team! 🎉

Pre-commit bots for interceptor pattern (#6648)
Always use token-column strategy for reading (#6845)

g

Hi! The pre-commit bots interceptor pattern looks really interesting. The way to implement this is by pairing the bot with a Subscription with an

```
extension
```

of

```
/StructureDefinition/pre-commit-bot
```

set to

```
valueBoolean: true
```
?

i
Ian Plunkett
09/15/2025, 5:44 PM
Hi **@Gonzalo** this is pretty experimental feature. But yes to implement it you would add an extension like

Copy code

```
"extension": [\
    {\
      "url": "https://medplum.com/fhir/StructureDefinition/pre-commit-bot",\
      "valueBoolean": true\
    }\
  ]
```

Then at the server level, you would set

```
preCommitSubscriptionsEnabled
```

to

```
true
```

and _then_ at the project level you need to set

```
preCommitSubscriptionsEnabled
```

to

```
true
```

as well.

g
Gonzalo
09/17/2025, 8:23 AM
Thanks **@Ian Plunkett**
Then if the bot throws an error the resource operation is cancelled?

i
Ian Plunkett
09/17/2025, 2:05 PM
That is correct

Thanks **@Santosh Chandak** - we are working really hard here! We put these out every month, but we need to work on the automations 🙂
