Medplum provides a Docker Compose file which comes with everything you need to get started in just two commands:

docker compose up -d
```

The Docker Compose file includes the following containers:

- [medplum/medplum-server](https://hub.docker.com/r/medplum/medplum-server)
- [medplum/medplum-app](https://hub.docker.com/r/medplum/medplum-app)

All the containers present are configured to work together out of the box with no configuration. Just run the commands above and go to [http://localhost:3000](http://localhost:3000/) to get started with your own full-stack local instance of Medplum!

Starting the whole stack can take a few minutes. This is due to the initial one-time setup Medplum server has to do before it is able to pass its healthcheck.
